Arts & Craft Fair Jewelry

I am selling jewelry at my first Arts & Craft Show at St. Albans High School on November 11.

I uploaded pics of the jewelry I have made so far for the show. I was surprised at how much I have already. I inventoried it today and took it out to see how it would look on the display stuff I've bought. I've got one more black velvet tray coming. The crystals really look good on it so I may put them on the new tray. I need more of some items. I have arranged by type first, then type of bead, and within the bead types I will organize by color and/or price range. For the bracelets, anyway. I'm so excited! I'm having so much fun with this and it's so new for me. It's 2 weeks from today and I am happy with where I am.

I ordered an antique white table cloth today (some things will be placed on the table cloth) and bought some silk yellow roses today to decorate with. I still have to make little signs for the table, price everything, make labels with the prices & descriptions, and a bunch of other stuff! Click on the pic below to view the web album if you'd like to see the jewelry.

New jewelry

Finally after what seemed like a very long time, I am back to making jewelry! I was working on a website for a new client and had to take a break from the jewelry. But now I have lots of lovely beads stocked up and hope to be adding lots of pieces in the coming months, gearing up for the Christmas season! Speaking of Christmas, if you want to order any custom jewelry, the earlier, the better!

I still have more to upload but here are a few things:

WVU gold & blue Swarovski bracelet & earring set

azurite memory wire bracelet

More jewelry

All of these are for sale - just inquire if you're interested in one of these or something similar.

I am very into the gemstones right now. I've been working with round gemstone beads and now I'm ordering more different shapes. One of my suppliers offers these "grab bag" type strands where they string a bunch of extras together and you don't know what you're going to get. The first set was gorgeous and I made this bracelet with it. I'm not sure what all the stones are but there are moss green agate, jasper, rose quartz, moonstone, citrine?, amber?. Doesn't matter I guess, but I like to know. But I love love love this bracelet. [SOLD - I just sold it to my mother. But I've got 2 more strands of similar stones and will be making some more]

This set is really pretty. Blue Moon lampwork glass beads and silver tone sun/moon beads (sun on one side, mood on the other). I love these colors. This bracelet is fairly small, to fit a 6-7" or maybe even 7 1/2" wrist. The set is currently on ebay cheap.

Swarovski pearl bracelet commissioned by a friend, and I have more of the same pearls. I love these pearls - very good quality.

Light blue Swarovski crystals and "Live" and "Laugh" charms. Also on Ebay.

My first attempt at chandelier earrings. With peridot Swarovski crystals. Yes, also on ebay.

Newest chakra beads style

Speaking of chakra bracelets, the ones I've had so far are 8mm beads but I've now ordered 6mm beads so I'll be making those as well.

I got some other beautiful beads in as well yesterday. Fancy jasper twist beads that are sooooo beautiful I have to order more so I can make a necklace and bracelet both. And some pretty turquoise howlite cube beads. Howlite is dyed to resemble turquoise, making it more affordable. I haven't photographed the beads yet. Ohhh but I can get the photos from ebay can't I:

fancy jasper - i am in love with these beads

The turquoise howlite [I made an ankle bracelet out of these this morning and sold it to mom. I still have some left though].

Chakra Beads

My first piece of chakra jewelry. This bracelet is made from 8mm semi precious stones matching the colors of the chakras: carnelian, red jasper, yellow jade, aventurine, blue quartz, sodalite and amethyst. Between each stone is a 6mm clear quartz stone, which is said to enhance the properties of the other stones. And there is one 8mm clear stone as well.

Each one is made with the intention of bringing blessings to the wearer and is cleansed with white sage. It comes in a black velvet pouch with a description of the properties of the stones used.

This one will sell for $18.00 which includes the cost of shipping with insurance. I will also be making another version without the small clear quartz in between - 3 sets of 8mm chakra stones with one 8mm clear one in between each set. These will sell for $23.00, which will include cost of shipping with insurance.

These are not yet on the website but can be purchased by just sending me an email - jamie@yellowrosegifts.com. Paypal only.

Jade & Citrine

I made these to wear to a wedding tomorrow and I am so in love with them! They are made from gorgeous round dark green jade beads, oval citrine beads and antique gold finished spacers. I'm not sure I'll be able to part with them. The beads are from the Bead Monster Boutique in Morgantown. They were expensive compared to other beads I've purchased but when I saw them I had to have them.

More beads! (sometimes I think I like buying & having them more than making jewelry)

These beads will be used in my chakra and meditation beads! These are from top to bottom amethyst, carnelian, sky blue quartz, yellow jade and clear quartz. I'm also using red jasper, green aventurine and sodalite, which I purchased a few weeks ago and was too lazy to get out and put with these. But I hope to have a set made soon anyway. Posted by Picasa

New Beads

Swarovski blue zircon. I bought an outfit with a shirt this color and a black skirt. I made a bracelet to match with beads I already had but I'm going to make another with jet crystals and these.

Gold Swarovski pearls. Not sure what I'm doing with these yet. I just like them.
