This is the first time in several years we have an actual decorated tree. Okay it's fake. And there's no tinsel or garland due to the cats. But it has ornaments that are meaningful to us, and pretty multicolored lights, and it makes it feel more like Christmas around here.

It is beautiful. I have tinsel on my tree and my kitty has never tried to mess with it, not even when she was a kitten. You may want to try it with the cats under supervision for a few hours. If they're good with it, leave it on. If they're going after it, take it off and put it where they can't get to it.
